White House: No Talks Yet With Zelenskyy on Ukraine’s NATO Bid or Nuclear Capabilities

During a White House briefing on February 12, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed questions about Ukraine’s potential NATO membership and the country’s stance on Ukraine potentially acquiring nuclear capabilities.
“I have not talked to President Trump about Ukraine's NATO membership or their nuclear capabilities. I would leave that to him to discuss,” Leavitt stated.
However, Levitt highlighted that these matters would be further discussed during an upcoming meeting between Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and high-ranking US officials.
“Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance will be meeting directly with President Zelenskyy in Munich on Friday. I am sure they will provide a readout of that conversation and discussion,” Leavitt added.
