Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with US President Donald Trump in a phone call on the evening of February 12.

According to Zelenskyy’s spokesperson, Serhii Nykyforov, the conversation lasted approximately an hour.

Following the call, Zelenskyy took to X to share key takeaways from the discussion.

“We long talked about opportunities to achieve peace, discussed our readiness to work together at the team level, and Ukraine’s technological capabilities—including drones and other advanced industries. I am grateful to President Trump for his interest in what we can accomplish together," he wrote.

Zelenskyy also revealed that the conversation covered his earlier discussion with US Under Secretary of State Scott Bessent, focusing on the preparation of a new document on security, economic cooperation, and resource partnerships. Additionally, Trump shared details from his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“No one wants peace more than Ukraine. Together with the US, we are charting our next steps to stop Russian aggression and ensure a lasting, reliable peace. As President Trump said, let’s get it done,” Zelenskyy concluded.

In a post shared on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump provided an update on his recent phone call with Zelenskyy, describing the conversation as “very well” and emphasizing the shared goal of peace.

“I just spoke to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine. The conversation went very well. He, like President Putin, wants to make peace,” Trump noted.

Trump indicated that the primary focus was the upcoming meeting scheduled for February 14 in Munich. The meeting will feature a delegation led by Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

He expressed hope that the meeting would lead to positive outcomes and reiterated his call for an end to the war.

Earlier, Donald Trump held a phone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, including Ukraine, the Middle East, energy, artificial intelligence, and the global financial system. Trump confirmed the call in a statement on Truth Social, describing it as “lengthy and very productive.”
