On June 3, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, held a meeting in Washington with US Special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg.

“Together with my team, I met with Keith Kellogg. We discussed the situation on the front line, the outcomes of the meetings in Istanbul, the importance of strengthening sanctions against Russia, and continued defense support for Ukraine,” Yermak said.

He noted that both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further cooperation in the field of security and maintaining international pressure on Russia.

“We deeply value our strategic partnership with the United States. We continue working together to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty and restore peace,” Yermak added.

Previously, US President Donald Trump’s envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said in a interview with ABC News that Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s concerns about NATO’s eastward expansion are “a fair concern.”
