The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on March 10 for a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to The Guardian.
Zelenskyy arrived with a Ukrainian delegation consisting of the Head of his office Andrii Yermak and his Deputy Pavlo Palisa, as well as Foreign Affairs and Defence Ministers Andrii Sybiha and Rustem Umerov.
On March 10, Zelenskyy announced that a delegation of Ukrainian officials will travel to Saudi Arabia for negotiations with U.S. representatives on Tuesday.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Jeddah on March 9 for bilateral talks with Ukrainian officials. He is expected to be joined by U.S. National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and Trump’s Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
On March 7, Zelenskyy stated in his evening address that Ukraine is currently engaged in its most intensive discussions yet with U.S. President Donald Trump’s team, aiming for a swift and lasting peace.
