Zelenskyy Meets Prime Minister Harris in Ireland to Discuss Humanitarian Initiatives and Security Cooperation
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine held diplomatic talks with Prime Minister Simon Harris of Ireland during his return from the NATO summit in Washington. Zelenskyy communicated the details of their meeting through official channels, focusing on Ireland’s support for Ukraine, joint efforts in demining and cybersecurity, and plans to implement decisions from the recent Summit on Peace for Ukraine.
A key agenda item was raising awareness about children forcefully deported by Russia, underscoring Ukraine’s appeal for global attention and support on this humanitarian issue. Zelenskyy thanked Ireland for its support during the Summit on Peace for Ukraine in Switzerland and acknowledged Prime Minister Harris for his personal commitment to facilitating the return of displaced children.
