Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will have two meetings with his American counterpart Joe Biden during his visit to the US.
This was stated by the Press Secretary of the President of Ukraine Serhii Nykyforov during the national telethon.
He said that the main purpose of Zelenskyy’s visit to the US is to present Ukraine's Victory Plan to President Biden, as well as to presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
"All these events are planned for later. Tomorrow the President will meet the president of the USA, a short meeting on the sidelines of the UN. And a large meeting will occur the day after tomorrow, on the 26th. These are the events from which we expect more results," Nykyforov added.
Zelenskyy is set to visit the US Capitol on Thursday, September 26, to meet with both Democratic and Republican lawmakers, according to a statement from Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's office on Tuesday.
