Zelenskyy to Meet Macron in France Ahead of Security Summit on March 26

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to visit France on the evening of March 26, where he will be received by French President Emmanuel Macron, according to Le Monde, citing the Élysée Palace on March 25.
The meeting will serve as preparation for the upcoming security summit scheduled for March 27 in Paris. The summit is expected to bring together members of the so-called “Coalition of the Willing,” a group of countries prepared to provide Ukraine with security guarantees and long-term support.
According to the Élysée Palace, President Macron will reaffirm that continuing and strengthening France’s military and financial support for Ukraine remains a key national priority.
Both leaders are expected to make public statements ahead of a bilateral meeting and working dinner.
The “Coalition of the Willing” was introduced by Czech President Petr Pavel and formally announced by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer following a summit of 18 world leaders in London on March 2. The initiative aims to reinforce European support for Ukraine amid uncertainty in US policy and to contribute to the foundation of a sustainable peace settlement.
The group includes countries that have expressed readiness to assist Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression and to support post-war stabilization efforts.
Earlier, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that the EU must lead efforts to provide Ukraine with security guarantees after any potential ceasefire, warning that without a clear plan, Russia could exploit the absence of safeguards.
