Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that a delegation of Ukrainian officials will travel to Saudi Arabia next week for negotiations with U.S. representatives.

The delegation will include Andrii Yermak, Head of the Presidential Office, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa, a former commander of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade “Kholodnyi Yar.”

Zelenskyy stated that he will begin the week with a visit to Saudi Arabia and a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday. Following this, Ukrainian diplomatic and military representatives will hold discussions with the U.S. team on Tuesday.

“Our side is committed to a constructive dialogue, and we hope to discuss and agree on the necessary decisions and steps,” Zelenskyy wrote on social media. He emphasized that Ukraine has been seeking peace since the beginning of the war.

“There are entirely realistic proposals on the table. The key is to move quickly and effectively,” he added, without providing further details.

The announcement follows a meeting between Ukrainian and British diplomatic teams in Kyiv on March 8, which Zelenskyy described as “very productive.” Discussions focused on joint steps to advance diplomatic efforts.
