Zelenskyy: Ukraine’s Security Guarantee Plan to Be Unveiled Within Days

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that preparations on security guarantees for Ukraine are nearing completion and will be ready in the coming days.
According to the president, Ukrainian, US, and European teams are working jointly on the framework of these guarantees. Zelenskyy made the statement following talks with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof.
The two leaders discussed how the Netherlands could increase its involvement in strengthening Ukraine’s security, as well as potential joint projects and investments in Ukraine’s defense industry.
Zelenskyy also noted that further diplomatic work with partners, including upcoming meetings in Washington, remains a priority.

“There is a real chance to end this war. Ukraine is ready for constructive steps that can bring a just peace closer. However, Russia shows no intention of moving toward peace and continues its attacks on our cities. All signals coming from Moscow these days are viewed equally,” Zelenskyy stated.
He stressed that international pressure remains essential to change Russia’s position and underlined the importance of a high-level meeting to address all key issues.
Prime Minister Schoof, in turn, congratulated Ukrainians on the Day of the National Flag, reaffirming the Netherlands’ solidarity with Ukraine.
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya told NBC’s Meet the Press that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is prepared to raise territorial questions in potential direct talks with Vladimir Putin, while stressing that any negotiations would remain within Ukrainian law and public opinion, which opposes trading land for peace.
