Zelenskyy: We Have Evidence of Russian Plans for New Military Operations in Europe

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence has gathered proof that Russia is preparing new military operations across Europe, following a report by HUR chief Kyrylo Budanov as was reported on June 22.
Zelenskyy revealed after Budanov’s briefing that Ukraine “has evidence that they are preparing new military operations on European territory” and emphasized that he would inform Ukraine’s partners of the findings.
Budanov’s report detailed the situation within Russia’s defense sector, identifying key pressure points of the aggressor state that Ukrainian forces will strike to protect the nation and its people and to substantially reduce Russia’s capacity for further aggression.
Budanov’s briefing further highlighted significant damage inflicted on Russia’s economy by international sanctions, underscoring the effectiveness of Kyiv’s strategy to compel Moscow to end the war through intensified fiscal and diplomatic pressure.

Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is “preparing joint defense decisions, in particular with Britain and the European Union” and reiterated Kyiv’s commitment to keep its allies fully apprised of all intelligence developments.
He concluded by expressing his gratitude to “everyone in the world who helps us protect life”
Earlier, President Zelenskyy revealed that Russia has been recruiting Chinese nationals to fight in Ukraine via TikTok promotions, enlisting over 150 individuals, according to the Main Directorate of Intelligence, with recruits receiving medical checks, military training, and payment cards.
