Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,260 Troops, 6 Tanks, and 60 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,260 troops, six tanks, and four armored combat vehicles over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 24.
According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,395,790.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of 60 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, three air defense systems, seven ground robotic systems, 1,873 operational-tactical UAVs, 430 vehicles and fuel tankers, and four pieces of special equipment over the past day.
Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,056 tanks, 24,816 armored combat vehicles, 44,664 artillery systems, 1,889 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,440 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,726 ground robotic systems, 369,888 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,787 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 111,257 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,333 pieces of special equipment.

The General Staff said the heaviest Russian assaults were recorded in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions, where Russian forces launched 44 and 24 attacks, respectively.
Over the past day, Russia carried out four missile strikes using six missiles and launched 77 airstrikes, dropping 260 guided aerial bombs. Russian forces also used 9,741 attack drones and conducted 3,159 strikes on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including 42 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
Earlier, reports emerged that Ukraine’s drone campaign has struck more than 800,000 verified Russian military targets and caused an estimated 167,000 Russian casualties since the start of 2026.
