Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,260 Troops, 7 Tanks, and 51 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,260 troops, seven tanks, and 51 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 17.
According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,386,680.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of seven armored combat vehicles, two multiple launch rocket systems, 10 ground robotic systems, 2,052 operational-tactical UAVs, 486 vehicles and fuel tankers, and three pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian equipment losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,033 tanks, 24,775 armored combat vehicles, 44,169 artillery systems, 1,874 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,427 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 355,593 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,783 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 107,994 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,303 pieces of special equipment.
The General Staff added that 237 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day.
Earlier, Maksym Kravchuk, spokesperson for the Support Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that Ukraine’s engineering troops destroyed more than 1,000 Russian troops in May using minefields and other engineering barriers.
