Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,310 Troops and 60 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost an estimated 1,310 troops and 60 artillery systems in a single day as fighting surged to 272 clashes across the front, Ukraine’s military said.
Russian forces lost an estimated 1,310 troops, one tank, and 60 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 29.
Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since launching its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have now reached approximately 1,443,450.

Ukraine also reported the destruction of six armored combat vehicles, three multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, nine UGVs, 1,468 operational-tactical UAVs, 331 vehicles and fuel tankers, and two pieces of special equipment.

Russia’s cumulative equipment losses now stand at 12,227 tanks, 25,044 armored combat vehicles, 46,962 artillery systems, 1,973 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,521 air defense systems, 439 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 2,063 UGVs, 432,778 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,950 cruise missiles, 34 ships and boats, two submarines, 127,181 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,478 pieces of special equipment.
Ukraine’s General Staff recorded 272 combat engagements between Ukrainian and Russian forces over the past day.
Earlier, reports emerged that residents of a Russian town have formed a 250-person civilian patrol to protect local men from recruiters accused of detaining them in the streets, beating them, and forcing them to sign military contracts for Russia’s war against Ukraine.
