Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,320 Troops, 5 Tanks, and 72 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,320 troops, five tanks, and 72 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 15.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,384,190.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of 10 armored combat vehicles, two multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, three ground robotic systems, 2,314 operational-tactical drones, 416 vehicles and fuel tankers, and eight pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian equipment losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,025 tanks, 24,763 armored combat vehicles, 44,082 artillery systems, 1,870 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,420 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 351,479 operational-tactical drones, 4,733 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 107,091 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,296 pieces of special equipment.

The General Staff added that 213 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day.

Earlier, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that Russia shifted the main effort of its Spring-Summer 2026 offensive in the Donetsk region to seizing Kostyantynivka after stalling on the approaches to Slovyansk.
