Putin’s New Manager for Seized Western Assets Linked to Moscow Real Estate Oligarchs

Russian Interior Ministry (MVD) General Andrey Krayushkin was recently appointed by the Russian leader Vladimir Putin to manage the seized local operations of Western retail and food giants Auchan, Nestlé, and Lemana Pro.
According to the independent Russian outlet Agentstvo News’ report on September 22, Krayushkin’s family maintains deep personal and financial ties to two major Russian real estate billionaires.

An investigation based on leaked databases revealed that Krayushkin’s network connects him directly to the structures of God Nisanov and Gagik Adibekyan, both of whom have featured prominently on Forbes' lists of Russia’s “Real Estate Kings,” Agentstvo News wrote.
Krayushkin’s connection to Adibekyan stems from Aleksey Yevseyev, a top executive who has managed several of Adibekyan’s assets since at least 2014.
According to leaked 2024 auto insurance policies, obtained by Agentstvo News, both Krayushkin and his wife, Lyudmila, were registered as drivers for a Lexus RX300 owned by Yevseyev’s wife, Irina. Traffic records indicate the MVD general was driving this specific vehicle when he was involved in a 2022 collision.
Yevseyev serves as the general director of Basis Development Plus, an entity that controlled Moscow’s luxury “Vremena Goda” shopping center under Adibekyan before it was sold in 2025.

Agentstvo News also noted that Yevseyev, who previously acted as Adibekyan’s head of security, appeared in a military uniform alongside Vladimir Putin in 2015 and posted in 2023 about visiting temporarily occupied territory in Ukraine.
Simultaneously, the Krayushkin family is tied to billionaire God Nisanov—the buyer of the “Vremena Goda” mall in 2025, according to Agentstvo News.
Leaked employment records and labor books show that Lyudmila Krayushkina worked as an accountant for “Vysotka,” the legal entity controlling Nisanov’s landmark Hotel Ukraina in Moscow, until at least June 2025, Agentstvo News reported.
Adibekyan, a former partner of sanctioned financier Ruben Vardanyan, is a major player in Moscow’s commercial real estate market, while Nisanov remains one of the wealthiest property developers in Russia.
The revelations underscore how the Kremlin’s seizure and nationalization of billion-dollar Western corporate assets are frequently funneled into the hands of regime loyalists deeply embedded within Moscow’s elite billionaire networks, Agentstvo News wrote.
Vladimir Putin had previously transferred the multi-billion-dollar Russian operations of Nestlé and Auchan to a Moscow shell company with just $177 in capital and a single employee.
The Kremlin explicitly framed the massive corporate expropriation as geopolitical retaliation against European countries actively providing military support to Ukraine.
