Murat Kumpilov, head of the Republic of Adygea, confirmed the incident and said emergency services were working at the site to extinguish the fire and address the consequences of the strike.
Images from the scene showed flames spreading through part of the complex, with visible damage to the building’s exterior cladding and a partial roof collapse. The company temporarily suspended deliveries from sellers to the affected logistics center. Shipments already in transit will be redirected to other warehouses.
The Adygeysk complex is a major distribution hub serving southern Russia, handling the storage, sorting, and processing of goods for the Southern and North Caucasian federal districts. The full extent of the damage and the timeline for restoring operations remain unclear.
On October 18, another major Ozon logistics facility near St. Petersburg caught fire following a reported drone strike. The 79,000-square-meter warehouse, capable of storing more than 5.5 million products and processing approximately 140,000 parcels daily, was among the facilities affected during a broader wave of drone attacks across Russia’s Leningrad region.
