The attack came hours after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russia could be preparing another large-scale strike against Ukraine. Zelenskyy urged residents to follow air raid safety measures amid indications of an impending attack.

These strikes are part of a massive combined Russian aerial attack against Ukraine. Moscow used combined aerial assault against Ukraine, using drones and various types of missiles to target multiple regions across the country.
