The Ukrainian OSINT Telegram channel Exilenova+ released footage purportedly capturing the moment the Russian fighter descended toward the ground and crashed near a cemetery.
The cause of the crash remains unknown, with Russian authorities investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Kaliningrad is a strategically important Russian exclave situated between NATO members Poland and Lithuania. The region hosts the headquarters of Russia’s Baltic Fleet and several military aviation facilities, including an air base near Chernyakhovsk that operates Su-30SM fighters.
The Su-30SM is a twin-engine, two-seat multirole fighter designed for air superiority missions, interception, and strikes against ground and maritime targets. The aircraft is operated by both the Russian Aerospace Forces and Russian Naval Aviation.
Earlier, on September 7, two Russian Su-35S fighter jets collided mid-air over Russia’s Kursk region, killing one pilot while the other survived. The cause of the collision remains unknown.
