Ukrainian FP-1 Drones Hit Russia’s Largest Wildberries Warehouse Near Moscow

Ukrainian forces struck Wildberries’ largest warehouse in Russia in the Moscow region overnight on August 16, causing a large fire at the logistics complex in Koledino.

Ukrainian defense company Fire Point reported on August 16 that the strike was carried out using Ukrainian-made FP-1 long-range drones. The company said the Koledino facility covers about 250,000 square meters and is used to store, sort, and distribute dual-use goods.

Images and videos published after the strike showed a large fire burning across the site and a column of black smoke rising above the facility.

The warehouse is located near Podolsk, south of Moscow, and serves as a major distribution center for Wildberries, one of Russia’s largest online retailers. Militarnyi identified the Koledino complex as the company’s largest warehouse in Russia, placing its area at more than 225,000 square meters.

Separately, Militarnyi reported on August 16 that drones also struck the Severnoye Domodedovo multimodal logistics complex near Moscow. The facility covers more than 540,000 square meters and is considered one of Russia’s largest Class A logistics hubs.

The strikes came during a large-scale overnight drone attack on the Moscow region. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported repeated drone interceptions throughout the night, while Russian authorities claimed hundreds of drones had approached the region.

The latest strike comes as Wildberries’ logistics network has already suffered extensive damage from Ukrainian attacks. Estimates cited by Forbes on August 13 put combined losses for the company and its sellers at up to 1 trillion rubles, or about $11.9 billion, with roughly one-third of Wildberries’ total warehouse capacity reportedly destroyed.
