Large Fire Erupts at Wildberries Warehouse Near Voronezh After Overnight Explosions

A large fire broke out at a Wildberries logistics complex near Russia’s Voronezh overnight on August 11 following a series of explosions, according to OSINT analysis by Astra.

Footage recorded by local residents and analyzed by Astra shows the logistics complex in the village of Aleksandrovka in the Novousmansky District engulfed in flames.

Local residents reported explosions and a fire in the region during the night. Wildberries confirmed that employees had been evacuated from the facility “in accordance with safety requirements,” but did not specify what prompted the evacuation.

According to Astra, the logistics complex in Aleksandrovka opened in November 2025. According to publicly available information, the facility covers 152,900 square meters and has a storage capacity of more than 90 million items.

The joint Wildberries & Russ company, known as RVB, invested approximately 11 billion rubles in the construction of the facility.

Overall, Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Wildberries, Russia’s largest e-commerce platform, have caused at least 100 billion rubles ($1.2 billion) in direct losses and could leave the company unprofitable for years, according to independent outlet The Bell.

As of August 2, Ukrainian drone strikes had taken nearly two-thirds of Wildberries’ largest logistics hubs out of operation over a two-week period. Approximately 16 of the company’s largest warehouse complexes had been disabled, DroneBomber reported.
