Inside Ukraine’s SOF Initiation Ceremony

This is the initiation ceremony of one of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces units.

The ceremony honors the fallen, awards berets to those who have proven themselves in combat, and binds the unit through a solemn oath. At its center—the Sword of Sviatoslav, a symbol carried through generations of warriors.
