The suspect, 34-year-old Decarlos Brown, was apprehended shortly after officers arrived. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been charged with first-degree murder.

According to law enforcement, Brown has a long criminal history stretching back to 2011. His record includes charges of grand larceny, armed robbery, and issuing threats. Police also noted that Brown is currently homeless.
