The President noted that at a time when all attention is focused on diplomacy and defending the country in the war, internal strength is essential—it forms the basis of external unity and Ukraine’s relations with the world.
According to him, maintaining this internal strength requires that there be no distractions from the country’s defense, and partners must have no questions regarding Ukraine’s actions.
“That is why today we are taking the next internal steps. First—the Office of the President of Ukraine will undergo a reboot. Head of the Office Andrii Yermak has submitted his resignation,” Zelenskyy said.

The President thanked Yermak for always representing Ukraine’s position in negotiations “exactly as it should be.” He emphasized that this position had always been patriotic.
“But I want to prevent rumors and speculation. As for the new head of the Office, tomorrow I will hold consultations with those who may lead this institution,” Zelenskyy added.
Earlier, Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office searched the Kyiv residence of presidential chief of staff Andrii Yermak as part of an ongoing investigation.
