Azov Brigade Reclaims Part of Donetsk Region’s Niu York, Breaking Ukrainian Troops’ Encirclement

The Azov Brigade has regained control over part of Niu York in Donetsk region and successfully freed Ukrainian troops from encirclement.

This was stated by Azov press center via social media in September 6.

“When the brigade was deployed to the front lines, the situation was dire. However, thanks to the high combat morale, bravery, and professionalism of its fighters, Azov managed to stabilize the situation, reclaim part of Niu York, and free the encircled Defense Forces,” says the message.

Although the situation has been stabilized, it remains tense. Despite the intense battles, Azov continues to hold its position and conduct successful counterattacks.

“The enemy has repeatedly claimed full occupation of Niu York, but this is another false claim by the occupiers. The Defense Forces control part of the settlement and are doing everything possible to liberate Ukrainian territory,” Azov concluded.
