US President Joe Biden is set to visit Germany on October 18, 2024, for a brief engagement primarily focused on meetings with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz. According to ZDF, this visit will be limited to just one day, a significant reduction from the originally planned itinerary.

Reports indicate that there will be no upcoming Ramstein format meetings during this visit.

Biden’s trip was initially scheduled for October 10 but was postponed due to Hurricane Milton, which posed risks of significant damage in Florida. The White House canceled the trip as a precaution.
