Congressman Joe Wilson to Announce Lend-Lease Act for “War-Winning” Aid to Ukraine

Republican Congressman Joe Wilson announced on X that he will introduce the Lend-Lease Act  on February 10, enabling President Donald Trump to send “war-winning weapons” to Ukraine.

“I will introduce the Freedom First Lend-Lease Act to give President Trump flexible authorities to send war-winning weapons to our partners including Ukraine,” Wilson declared in his post.

The South Carolina lawmaker, known for his staunch support of Ukraine, also called for a show of force against Russia. “Bring Russia to the table through American strength,” he wrote.

This legislative move coincides with a series of high-level diplomatic engagements. US Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to attend the Munich Security Conference in Germany later this week, where discussions will focus on international security concerns, particularly the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Earlier, President Zelenskyy announced US President Donald Trump’s team will visit Ukraine this week ahead of the Munich Security Conference.
