Croatia Joins Drone Coalition to Support Ukraine Alongside UK and Latvia

Croatia has announced its decision to join the international “Drone Coalition,” pledging support for Ukraine in cooperation with partners Latvia and the United Kingdom.
The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the move in a statement published on X on September 5.
Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić-Radman made the announcement during a meeting in Riga with his Latvian counterpart, Baiba Braže. The ministers discussed opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation in the areas of economy, energy, and defense.

The ministers welcomed excellent bilateral relations and discussed opportunities to enhance economic, energy and defence cooperation.

“In that context, Minister Grlić Radman stated that Croatia intends to join the drone initiative led by Latvia and the United Kingdom,” the ministry noted.
The two ministers also exchanged views on Croatia’s bid to join the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and reiterated their firm commitment to supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Earlier, it was reported that Latvia supplied the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a new shipment of 1,300 drones, strengthening its military assistance under the multinational “Drone Coalition.”
