Daily Update: Russia Loses 760 Troops, 53 Artillery Systems, and Over 1,100 Drones in One Day

Russian forces lost an estimated 760 troops killed or wounded over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on February 3.

According to updated figures, Russia’s total combat losses since the start of its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,242,290 personnel.

The General Staff said Russian losses over the past day also included six tanks, four armored combat vehicles, and 53 artillery systems, alongside continued heavy attrition among drones and logistics equipment.

Estimated total Russian losses since February 24, 2022:

  • Personnel: about 1,242,290 (+760);

  • Tanks: 11,633 (+6);

  • Armored combat vehicles: 23,985 (+4);

  • Artillery systems: 36,855 (+53);

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,633 (+0);

  • Air defense systems: 1,292 (+1);

  • Fixed-wing aircraft: 435 (+0);

  • Helicopters: 347 (+0);

  • Operational-tactical UAVs: 122,388 (+1,171);

  • Cruise missiles: 4,205 (+0);

  • Warships/boats: 28 (+0);

  • Submarines: 2 (+0);

  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 76,738 (+153);

  • Special equipment: 4,058 (+1).

Ukrainian military officials said 167 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. Despite sustained pressure, Ukrainian forces continue to hold defensive lines and inflict significant losses on Russian units.

Earlier, reports emerged that Russian infantry units stationed on the frontlines in Ukraine were resorting to opioid use to manage psychological stress from constant battlefield losses, failed assaults, and high casualty rates.
