Ukrainian forces carried out a series of overnight strikes against Russian military targets in eastern and southern Ukraine, hitting an ammunition depot and multiple command posts, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on February 2.

According to the military, the attacks took place during the night of February 2 and targeted facilities on temporarily occupied territory.

In the Kurakhivka area of Donetsk region, Ukrainian units struck two Russian command posts, operating at regimental and divisional levels, as well as an ammunition storage site used to supply occupying forces.

The General Staff said the strikes were part of a broader effort to degrade Russian command-and-control capabilities on the front line.

Ukrainian forces also hit Russian drone command centers near Uspenivka and Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region. These facilities were used to coordinate unmanned aerial vehicle operations, and their destruction is expected to significantly reduce Russian drone activity in the area.

The extent of Russian losses is still being assessed, the General Staff added.

Earlier, Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a series of targeted strikes against Russian military infrastructure located both within occupied Ukrainian territories and across the Russian border.

One of the strikes hit a repair facility used by Russian military engineering units near Rozivka in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region. This site reportedly supported an engineering and sapper regiment of the Russian armed forces.

In the Donetsk region, Ukrainian units struck several assets near the city of Myrnohrad, including a drone command center, a company-level command observation post, and a concentration of Russian troops.

Additional strikes were conducted targeting a drone control post in the vicinity of Nekislytsia, located in Russia’s Kursk region. Ukrainian forces also reported a separate strike on a concentration of Russian military personnel near the town of Troebortnoye in the Bryansk region.
