The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and presented an individual kit for marking, detection, and demining, made from Ukrainian components at one of the defense departments.

Each set includes more than 10 items that a serviceman would need during detecting and marking explosive objects. In particular, a compact mine probe made of dielectric material, a reusable grappling hook for trawling tripwires, a paracord, sets for checking fuses and detonators, fluorescent light sources for night marking, etc.

The developers created the set taking into account the fact that the military has to work in very difficult conditions, on different types of terrain, as well as to deal with "mine traps" that the Russian forces set up during the mining of territories.

“When creating the demining kit, domestic developers used the experience of both foreign partners and the unique experience of Ukrainian defenders, acquired during the deterring the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. The developers analyzed samples of similar individual sets that exist in other armies of the world, and created their own, taking into account the requests of Ukrainian soldiers,” the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine wrote.

It is reported that several hundred such sets are already in the Ukrainian army. The manufacturer provided them free of charge for use in various units of the Defense Forces.
