Drone strikes hit multiple sites in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, Russia, according to reports from Russian media ASTRA, citing locals on December 15.

Russian media claims the drones targeted key military sites, including the OMON “Akhmat-Grozny” base and the second regiment of special police forces. One of these sites is believed to be a military base used for dispatching personnel to Ukraine.
Videos of the attack show explosions and gunfire echoing through the city. Residents reported hearing loud blasts and seeing drones flying over suburban areas.
At least 2 drones reportedly struck their targets, with additional UAVs observed over the outlying districts of Grozny.
The extent of the damage or any potential casualties has not been disclosed.
On December 12, a drone attacked the barracks of the Akhmat Police Special Regiment in Grozny, injuring 4 Chechen guards and igniting a fire.
