Explore the U24 App: Donation Features, Frontline Access, and Transparent Reporting

The new U24 mobile app, created to connect supporters directly with Ukrainian military units, has raised over $128,000 in its first month and is already used by more than 12,000 people. The platform is available on the App Store and Google Play, with registration possible through email, Apple ID, or the government portal Diia.

Inside the app, users can create a personal profile by choosing an avatar and call sign to join the community. Donations go straight to frontline units without intermediaries and can be made either as one-time contributions or through monthly subscriptions. In addition, the Support button allows users to send words of encouragement directly to soldiers.

The app also provides exclusive content, offering a behind-the-scenes look at military life through photos, videos, mission updates, thank-you messages, and regular reports on completed campaigns. An interactive feed brings together all current fundraisers in one place, ensuring transparency and immediate impact.

Every contribution is reflected in the donor leaderboard, where supporters move up the ranks as they continue giving. This feature fosters motivation, recognition, and friendly competition within the community.

The developers note that large contributions may occasionally be rewarded with symbolic gifts, such as unit patches. They also plan to add features like achievements, likes, and group chats.

The first transparency report on how funds are being used is expected in October.

Earlier, over the spring, more than 2,200 Ukrainians applied through the Diia app to join drone warfare units, including K-2, Achilles, Rarog, Phoenix, and Magyar’s Birds.
