UNITED24 Launches Game-Changing App Empowering Global Donors to Support Ukraine’s Drone Units
Ukraine’s official fundraising platform UNITED24, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has launched a new mobile app that allows donors worldwide to directly support frontline drone units and follow their missions in real time.

Through the UNITED24 app, contributors can choose specific units to fund, receive updates on how their donations are being used, and track missions. The UNITED24 app lets donors directly support five frontline drone units, which comprise the Drone Line, a key initiative launched by President Zelenskyy to boost Ukraine’s most effective unmanned forces.
“We’re taking fundraising to the next level by launching the UNITED24 app. This is more than just a convenient tool for donations. It’s a breakthrough in how donors connect with those they support. People around the world will be able to see how their contributions are being used in real time, stay directly connected with military units, learn about their needs, and receive gratitude firsthand. UNITED24, launched on the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has already raised more than $1.45 billion,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation.

He noted that the new app makes supporting Ukraine faster and more convenient than before, emphasizing that it focuses on trust, transparency, and technology to ensure aid is as effective as possible.
Five units are currently part of the app:
429th Unmanned Systems Brigade “Achilles” which has played a key role in battles for Kyiv and Kharkiv.
20th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems “K-2” specializing in reconnaissance and strike operations.
414th Separate Unmanned Strike Aviation Systems Brigade “Magyar Birds” which now carries out more than 200 strikes daily.
427th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems “Rarog” focused on intelligence, innovation, and drone production.
Main Department of Unmanned Aircraft Systems “Fenix” of the State Border Guard Service which has carried out over 8,000 missions.
The UNITED24 app also offers features for donors such as personalized profiles, donation tracking, unit updates, and monthly reports on funds raised.
The app is available on the App Store and Google Play, providing a more transparent and accessible way for people to support Ukraine’s defense efforts.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced that Diia has been recognized in TIME’s Best Inventions 2024 list in the “Apps and Software” category. TIME annually highlights 200 innovations it considers transformative, and this year Diia was honored for its online marriage service — the world’s first fully digital process for marriage registration.
