Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has called on the international community to condemn the Russian shelling of Lviv and Kryvyi Rih and to allow neighboring countries to intercept the missiles.

"Shooting down pieces of deadly metal in the air is not participation in the war," the minister emphasized.

Kuleba stated that Russia used missiles and drones to attack people in their homes while they were sleeping at night. As a result of the attacks, residential buildings, schools, and hospitals were damaged, and UNESCO-protected landmarks in the Lviv area were also affected.

Ukraine has previously highlighted that Western countries could assist in defending against Russia's massive missile strikes targeting critical and energy infrastructure. This support would enable Ukraine to strike missile carriers deep within Russian territory using Western weapons.

Earlier reports indicated that residents of Poland believe their military should intercept any objects flying over Polish territory during Russia's attacks on Ukraine, even if they are unsure of what those objects are.
