Kyiv has initiated the evacuation of two hospitals, including a children’s facility, after a video circulated online threatening a Russian attack on the medical centers, as reported by Kyiv City State Administration.

The video, spreading via social media, falsely claimed that the hospitals in Ukraine’s capital were housing military personnel. Kyiv officials denounced the video as a “blatant lie and provocation by the enemy” intended to justify an attack on civilian infrastructure.

Prioritizing the safety of patients, including children and their families, and medical staff, city authorities initiated an urgent evacuation to transfer everyone to other hospitals within the capital. Officials have appealed to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Ministry of Health for assistance in securing the evacuation and ensuring the well-being of those affected.
