Lithuania Invests €10 Million in Ukraine’s Long-Range Weapons Production

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced that Lithuania’s Ministry of National Defense has allocated €10 million to support the production of advanced Ukrainian long-range weaponry.
The announcement was made by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense on April 14.
According to Umerov, this funding marks the first installment under a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two countries in December 2024.
“This weaponry is already proving effective on the front lines—boosting our range, precision, and overall firepower,” Umerov said. “Together with our Lithuanian partners, we are working on the next phase—an additional €10 million in aid that will allow us to expand production and further enhance our long-range capabilities.”
Umerov expressed gratitude to the government and people of Lithuania for their steadfast support, strategic vision, and meaningful contribution to Ukraine’s victory.
Previously, at the latest Ramstein-format meeting in Brussels on April 11, a new “coalition of capabilities” was established to bolster Ukraine’s electronic warfare efforts. According to Germany’s Ministry of Defense, the coalition includes Germany and ten other partner nations. It becomes the ninth such capability coalition formed to coordinate international military support for Ukraine.
