Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said that “President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s victory plan is realistic and achievable”, during a meeting with his Latvian counterpart Baiba Braže in Riga, reported Lithuanian Foreign Ministry on October 17.

They discussed bilateral and regional cooperation, Baltic Sea security, Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine, and efforts they can do to mobilize international support for Ukraine defending itself.

“Lithuania and Latvia share a clear goal and vision for Ukraine’s victory. We all agree that Ukraine must win — there is no alternative. Russia will not stop unless it is stopped,” Landsbergis added.

“We can increase weapons deliveries and lift restrictions. We can provide security guarantees to prevent another Russian attack. Whether we do it or not is up to us. But I am certain that if we choose any plan other than Zelenskyy’s, we will regret it later,” the Lithuanian FM said.

Earlier, Danish PM called NATO membership central to Zelenskyy’s victory plan, adding that in contains “really, really good ideas.”
