Local Resistance Group Sets Communication Towers Ablaze Near Russia’s Krasnodar, Video
Two communication towers near Krasnodar were set on fire, as reported by Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate (HUR) on January 18. The operation, attributed to local resistance groups opposing the Russian, took place in the early hours of January 17.
HUR confirmed the destruction of the towers in a statement shared on its official Telegram channel, noting the incident as part of an intensifying domestic resistance against Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
“The resistance to the criminal war against Ukraine within the aggressor state is growing stronger,” the intelligence agency commented. The agency also released video footage documenting the incident, showcasing the deliberate targeting of the infrastructure.
Earlier, Ukrainian military intelligence successfully destroyed a Russian 1L219M Zoopark-1 counter-battery radar system using long-range FPV drones. The operation, carried out by the “Wings” unit, targeted the $23 million radar, a key component of Russia’s artillery reconnaissance, with drones costing just $2,300.
