Long-Range Drones Hit Key Chemical Plants in Tolyatti and Logistics Hub in Taganrog

Long-range drones successfully targeted two massive chemical enterprises in Tolyatti, Samara region, and a logistics hub in Taganrog overnight, according to OSINT channels and local governmental officials.
The strikes in Tolyatti hit the “Tolyattikauchuk” and “KuibyshevAzot” plants, both critical nodes in Russia’s industrial and military supply chains.

Residents in Tolyatti reported a series of massive explosions followed by a significant fire. The Astra news outlet geolocated the impact sites, confirming that the drones reached the heart of the Northern Industrial Hub. Tolyattikauchuk is one of Russia’s largest producers of synthetic rubber, essential for the production of tires and technical rubber goods, while KuibyshevAzot specializes in nitrogen fertilizers and polyamides.

Samara Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev confirmed the attack, stating that one employee was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds. He also noted that a drone struck the roof of a multi-story apartment building, shattering windows and forcing the evacuation of residents to temporary shelters. Traffic in the industrial district remains restricted as emergency services assess the damage.

Simultaneously, drones struck Taganrog in the Rostov region. Governor Yuri Slyusar reported that a fire broke out at the warehouses of a local logistics company. Most notably, Slyusar confirmed that debris from a downed drone fell onto a foreign-flagged dry cargo ship anchored a few kilometers offshore in the Sea of Azov, sparking a fire on the vessel.
The overnight strikes on the Tolyatti and Taganrog industrial hubs follow a wave of deep-strike missions that have systematically targeted the backbone of the Russian military-industrial complex. Ukrainian drones have previously successfully struck the Morozov Explosives Plant in the Leningrad region, a critical facility for the production of ballistic missile propellant.
This latest raid on the Samara region marks the third time in a month that the Tolyattikauchuk and KuibyshevAzot chemical plants have been hit, following precision strikes on March 11 and March 21.
