NATO’s Rutte to Hold Talks With Zelenskyy at Munich Security Conference

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is set to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Munich Security Conference on February 14. Rutte made this statement during a press conference in Brussels.
NATO Secretary General said that the West aims to ensure peace talks are successful and that, regardless of their outcome, the war between Russia and Ukraine must come to an end.
“We are consulting with our European allies, Canada, and especially the United States because we all share the goal of achieving lasting peace in Ukraine,” he said. “And, of course, President Zelenskyy himself is a very important part of these conversations.”
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said he does not see any problem with engaging in dialogue with Russia without Zelenskyy being involved.
“I don’t see anything wrong with engaging in dialogue with Russia without Zelenskyy,” he stated.
Previously, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas stated that Europe will support Ukraine if Kyiv rejects a US-Russia peace deal, in light of US President Donald Trump’s phone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on February 12.
