“The blast wave shattered windows, damaged the roof, and left one multi-story building destroyed and 30 others severely damaged,” Fedorov said. Private homes and non-residential structures in the Shevchenkivskyi and Oleksandrivskyi districts were also hit.

In addition to the casualties, the strikes disrupted utilities, leaving over 20,000 residents without electricity and 17,000 without heating. Emergency services, volunteers, and charity organizations have mobilized to assist in the aftermath, setting up centers to support affected residents.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the strike and added that 26 people were injured.

“Russia’s daily terror against Ukraine deserves more and more pressure on the terrorist. More sanctions against Russia are needed, more air defense systems to protect our cities and communities and weapons for our soldiers at the front,” he said.

As of 10:17 am, Fedorov reported that the number of injured as a result of a Russian missile strike increased to 31.

Later Federov stated that as of 11:32 am 45 people were injured in the Russian attack.

Earlier, a Russian drone strike targeted Mykolaiv, with seven drones launched at the city, one of them hit a residential building, causing damage and fires.
