April 11 marks exactly one month since Russia refused to accept a full interim ceasefire proposed by the United States.

On March 11, Ukraine unconditionally agreed to the proposal in Jeddah, but Russia rejected it, instead demanding conditions. Despite this, Russia continued to escalate its attacks on civilians, Andrii Sybiha stated on X.

“Russia refused to agree, instead putting forward conditions and demands. At the same time, Russia continued to escalate its terror against civilians,” wrote Sybiha.

According to Sybiha, from March 11 to April 11, Russia launched nearly 70 missiles of various types, over 2,200 Shahed drones, and more than 6,000 guided aerial bombs—its response to peace proposals.

Sybiha, stated that, “For one month already, there may have been silence and confidence-building measures to advance the fair peace that the US, European and other partners wish to achieve.”

However, Russia remains the sole obstacle to peace and the ongoing source of the war against Ukraine states the X post.

In related news, the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine visited the site of a Russian missile strike in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, on April 4, which killed 19 civilians, including nine children.
