Agents of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar partisan movement Atesh carried out a sabotage operation in areas temporarily under Russian occupation in South of Ukraine, as reported by the Telegram channel group on November 26.

As a result of the partisan actions, Russia’s logistics on the railroad segment between Novooleksiivka and Melitopol were disrupted.

It was noted that electrical equipment in a relay cabinet was destroyed in the settlement of Oleksiivka in the Kherson region, near the administrative border with occupied Crimea.

The resistance group pointed out that the railroad line between Novooleksiivka and Melitopol is crucial for supplying Russian forces in the Zaporizhzhia region, who are currently intensifying their assault on Ukrainian positions.

"We received information that the occupation police are on high alert and actively searching for our agent, but they will not find them," Atesh reported.

Additionally, the coordinates of the operation were posted online.

Earlier, it was reported that the Russian army is positioning trained assault groups along frontline areas in the  Zaporizhzhia region, according to a spokesperson for Ukraine's Southern Command Vladyslav Voloshyn on November 12.
