Poland’s 2024 Aid: Nearly 300 Armored Fighting Vehicles Reinforce Ukraine’s Defenses

In 2024, Poland delivered nearly 300 armored fighting vehicles and 106 artillery systems to Ukraine, according to data submitted to the UN Register of Conventional Arms on July 16, 2025, as was reported by Defence24 on July 16.
Breaking down Poland’s 2024 armor and artillery deliveries to Ukraine:
295 armored vehicles including infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers;
18 K9 KRAB self-propelled howitzers;
78 2S1 Gwoździk tracked howitzers;
10 D-44M towed anti-tank guns.
“These figures reflect only major weapon categories and do not represent the full scope of Poland’s arms exports. The true value will only be known when Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs publishes its comprehensive annual report this autumn,” the Defence24 analysis noted.
Jan Kowalski, spokesman for the Polish Ministry of National Defense, said, “Our support for Ukraine is resolute, and these deliveries significantly strengthen Ukraine’s deterrence and combat capabilities,” adding that Warsaw intends to maintain and even expand this assistance under NATO’s collective security framework.
Earlier, it was reported that Poland’s military assistance to Ukraine has reached €4.5 billion since 2022, including the delivery by the end of 2024 of 318 tanks, 536 combat vehicles, and 136 artillery systems.
