Poland is preparing its 47th military aid package for Ukraine, valued at approximately 200 million euros, Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Piotr Łukasiewicz.

In an interview with European Pravda, published on May 16, Łukasiewicz noted that the new package, which will be delivered in the coming months, follows a previous installment valued at around 230 million euros ($250 million).

That aid included ammunition, systems, spare parts, and other equipment used by Ukrainian forces on the front lines.

According to the ambassador, from the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022 through the end of 2024, Poland supplied Ukraine with 318 tanks, 536 combat vehicles of various types, 136 artillery systems of differing calibers, 10 aircraft, and 10 combat helicopters.

He emphasized the role of Polish-produced equipment, including Krab self-propelled howitzers, in Ukrainian operations. “Polish Krab self-propelled guns, Polish tanks served Ukrainians in victories, and not only in defense,” he said.

Łukasiewicz added that Poland has also delivered significant volumes of ammunition, combat materials, fuel, lubricants, and spare parts. He estimated the total value of military assistance provided by Poland at approximately 4.5 billion euros ($4.9 billion).

“For the scale of our country, our army, this is a very large amount,” he said.

While acknowledging that the bulk of the aid was sent during the initial phases of the war, Łukasiewicz underscored that Poland continues to provide military support.

In the same interview, he also said that the transfer of Soviet-era MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine remains under discussion, and that relevant negotiations are ongoing.

Earlier, Polish defense firm Advanced Protection Systems announced it has integrated Ukrainian-made acoustic sensors into its SKYctrl anti-drone system.
