Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that information from the border and the U.S. aid hub in Jasionka confirms reports of a pause in American assistance to Ukraine.

This was reported by RMF24 on March 4, citing Tusk’s statement during a government meeting.

“The reports that are coming from the border, from our hub in Jasionka, confirm the announcements of the American side,” said Tusk, referring to the suspension of aid for Ukraine by the U.S. “The situation is serious.”

“This, of course, puts Europe, Ukraine, and Poland in a more difficult situation, but we have to face this situation,” the PM added.

The Trump administration reportedly decided to pause U.S. military aid to Ukraine on March 3, according to an unnamed senior Defense Department official quoted by Bloomberg.

Following the reported suspension of military aid to Ukraine, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated on March 4 that the possible halting of U.S. military supplies to Ukraine would be the “greatest contribution to peace.”
