China is reportedly negotiating with Russia about potential involvement in combat operations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Ukrainian National Resistance Center reported on March 5.

According to the Center, Beijing is interested in acquiring battlefield experience in Ukraine, following the example set by North Korea.

Sources indicate that Chinese envoys have been repeatedly spotted in Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine, as China and Russia continue to deepen their military cooperation.

Earlier, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. Delivering a message from Russian leader Vladimir Putin, he emphasized Moscow’s commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation.

“Russia highly values the agreements reached with China and is focused on deepening cooperation,” Shoigu stated.

Additionally, he emphasized that the Russia-China relationship serves as a model of interaction between two great powers and is based on shared interests, equality, and deep mutual trust.
