Russia Bombards Kostiantynivka With FPV Drones and Artillery, Killing 9 and Injuring 8

Russian troops carried out a deadly strike on Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region on September 3, targeting the city first with artillery fire and later with FPV drones. The attack left nine civilians dead and at least seven others injured, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
Filashkin reported that Russian forces opened fire on the city with artillery in the morning. As a result, eight people aged between 44 and 74 were killed, while six others sustained injuries.
The shelling caused significant destruction, damaging two apartment buildings, a private house, a store, a shopping center, and five market pavilions.

Later in the day, Russian forces launched FPV drone strikes against civilian vehicles. One of the attacks killed a 36-year-old woman and injured another person.
“Attempts on the lives of civilians are not isolated incidents but a deliberate and systematic method of Russian terrorist groups. For them, killing peaceful Ukrainians is entertainment! Don’t let them play this deadly game! Take care of yourselves and your loved ones! Evacuate in time!” Filashkin emphasized.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy sounded the alarm over the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, warning that it is functioning under unprecedentedly unstable and hazardous conditions. The statement followed recent comments by Russian leader Vladimir Putin regarding the occupied facility.
