Russia Bombs Kharkiv Medical Center With Guided Bomb, Killing One Person, Injuring 12

A Russian airstrike struck a medical facility in Kharkiv’s Industrialnyi district, killing one person and injuring at least 12 others, according to city officials, Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported on July 25.
“A Russian KAB [guided bomb] hit the building of a medical facility,” Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote. “There is another medical treatment building nearby. A private home was also damaged in the strike.”
The attack occurred around 11:30 a.m. local time, Terekhov confirmed.
Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov added that a 12-year-old girl suffered an acute stress reaction from the blast. Emergency crews remain on site, and all victims are receiving medical assistance.
According to the chief of the Kharkiv region police, Russians used the UMPB-5 glide bomb that struck Kharkiv yesterday, too.
Earlier, Russian forces launched a long-range airstrike on the city of Kharkiv using two guided aerial bombs, hitting a residential building and a civilian enterprise using a new type of guided bomb.
