Russia Strikes Central Kharkiv With KAB Bombs, Leaving 22 Injured and Widespread Destruction

On July 24, Russia struck residential areas in the central part of Kharkiv's Shevchenkivskyi district with two KAB bombs, leaving 22 people injured, as reported by Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
Two explosions occurred in Kharkiv around 11:06 am, according to Suspilne correspondents. The Ukrainian Air Force reported KAB bomb strikes coming from the north towards Kharkiv.
Russia hit a high-rise building, with reports indicating that people may be trapped under the rubble. The second strike targeted a civilian enterprise, causing a fire.
"There’s significant damage: a transformer substation has been destroyed, a light industry enterprise—specifically a sewing factory—has been demolished. Many windows are shattered, and roofs are torn apart," the mayor said.

Further details confirmed that one of the bombs struck near a high-rise building. Around 15 cars are burning at the scene, Mayor Terekhov added.
Among the injured, a 10-year-old girl experienced a severe stress reaction, according to Head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
